The Painted WordCo-curated by Peter Selz and Sue Kubly Reception, May 16th from 6-8pm April's Poetry Month in San Francisco will culminate as Meridian Gallery presents an exhibition called The Painted Word, that will display surprising visual art produced by these outstanding writers and poets, featuring William Saroyan, Kenneth Rexroth, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Jack Hirschman, Jess, Robert Duncan, Michael McClure, Jack Micheline, William S. Burroughs, John Keating, Henry Miller, and Kenneth Patchen, David Meltzer as well as photographs by Chris Felver. A full list of public programs is listed here.
